Children’s Fund Announces Grants

Also, launches campaign for playground equipment

The Garrison Children’s Education Fund which supports learning for students in the Garrison Union Free School District, raised more than $14,000 during its fall fundraising drive. The money will be distributed for spring programs, including two-day workshops with the Garrison Arts Center for all grades, a sail aboard the sloop Clearwater for fifth-grade students, and transportation to the New York Museum of Science for grades 3 to 5.
