Deadline extended for Dutchess contest

The United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region has extended the deadline for its Children’s Art Contest to Jan. 22. Submissions to the contest, which is open to students in grades 1 to 3, should celebrate the United Way’s 80th birthday and show how the child will make the world a better place.

The winning piece will be used as the cover of the annual service awards dinner program. See uwdor.org/childrensartcontest.
