Gun Violence Action

Rally and march on April 20

A rally and march will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 20, at Memorial Park in Beacon as part of a National Day of Action Against Gun Violence, which marks the anniversary of the killings at Columbine High School in Colorado in 1999.

The event includes a student soapbox, letter-writing, free lunch and a march from the park to Main Street. See facebook.com/beacondayofaction. A national school walkout is also planned.
