‘Beacon Stands with Families’

Fundraiser will raise money for legal defense

On Saturday, June 30, a number of businesses will hold a fundraiser called Beacon Stands with Families. Organized by Binnacle Books, it will benefit The Young Center, a nonprofit organization that provides legal representation to unaccompanied immigrant children.

Besides Binnacle, participating establishments include Beetle and Fred, Denning’s Point Distillery, Dogwood, Quinn’s, Reservoir, Stock Up, Mother Gallery, Beacon Pantry, More Good and Utensil. Each will donate a percentage of the day’s sales.
